SD 3/03/07 - "Exit Droolin" It looks like we're going to be in the Starbase for a while.
\ \We're being investigated not only for the "piracy" that we did in the wargames, which is what I thought we were supposed to do, but also this ridiculous charge that Lott Tadasi took advantage of her stretchable jaw to swallow a Ferrengi captive alive. Lott can be odd, but would she really make even a Ferrengi die the horrible death of acid burns and fumes trapped in a creature's belly?
\ \Besides, the Ferrengi in question survived. Maybe the charged that was dropped, injecting him with drugs, wasn't so crazy.
\ \Lott was arrested, and put into the custody of Security on the Starbase. I'm trying to do what I can to get her/him let go, but the Admiral seems determined to have her/him commited to the "Sick Puppy" ward before his/her hearing. Should that happen, it'll be very hard to avoid a Section-8 discharge, let alone back on the Freedom.

\ \What's this? It seems they're not going to ship Lott out after all, but Droolin. Considering the numerous complaints about him harrassing women, maybe this wasn't a mess-up after all. Even if it was, if there's one thing Vulcans have in common with humans is a reluctance to admit a mistake was made. But it seems the charges against him/her are dropped.
\ \Well, I doubt Droolin will be missed. Especially by Halfpipe. Maybe she managed to pull a string or two. If so, she's becoming a bit more adept at office politics. That's something I always had trouble with.
